Where it all began

The Idea

Like many meaningful ideas, Braewell began during a time of
change.

What started as a simple idea soon became a clear mission: to create thoughtful, feel-good boxes that celebrate people, not just what they do, but who they are. Boxes that support mental wellbeing, inclusivity and genuine connection, whether that’s in the workplace, on a birthday, or during a milestone moment in someone’s career.

Then the world paused.

The pandemic slowed everything down, but it also gave me time to reflect on what truly mattered, kindness, recognition and making people feel seen and appreciated.

After years working in large corporate environments, I knew how easy it is for important moments to be missed. New starters blend in quietly. Promotions pass with little recognition. Milestones go unmarked. The human side of work, appreciation, wellbeing and joy, often gets lost as companies grow.

I wanted to change that.

A couple of years later, during maternity leave, the idea returned, this time with clarity and purpose.

Braewell evolved into something bigger: a brand built around moments that matter. Not just treats, but meaningful gifting that marks impact, birthdays, yes, but also the key moments in a career journey.

That’s where Braewell comes in.

We support growing companies by helping them outsource thoughtfulness, making it easy to welcome new starters, celebrate
milestones, recognise promotions, mark birthdays and show appreciation without
adding to already busy workloads.

Alongside this, our birthday subscriptions were created to ensure no one feels forgotten, offering a consistent, inclusive way to celebrate people throughout the year, without relying on alcohol or one-size-fits-all gestures.

Every box is designed to make someone feel valued, supported and recognised, whether it arrives on day one, year five, or somewhere in between.
