Where it all began
Like so many of us, my journey to starting a business was not easy.
In fact, it began with an idea during a team meeting when I first thought about creating thoughtful, feel-good meeting, event and treat boxes that not only offered delicious snacks but also supported mental health and well-being. Coming from a mental health background, I was often surprised to see how many people would struggle to concentrate or connect during a meeting, which resulted in them leaving early or doodling, missing out on the important bits!
Little did I know the world would soon face a pandemic that would pause my plans, but it also gave me time to reflect on what truly mattered. Having worked in large corporate environments for years, I also often felt overlooked and undervalued, and many people around me felt the same too. Despite the hard work I poured into my job, there was a lack of recognition for the human side of things - the need for kindness, mental health support, and, honestly, a little more joy.
I wanted to change that, not just for myself, but for others too.
Fast forward a couple of years, I went on maternity leave and the world of business was the last thing on my mind.
But, in that quiet time, I began to think about it again. I wanted to be able to spend more time with my children but still support others and ensure employees are recognised in the workplace. I revisited my ideas, slowly piecing together what would eventually become this business: a place where you can find not only yummy treats and thoughtful gifts, but also the support and resources that nurture mental health, wellbeing and inclusivity.
A business where every box is filled with care, and each item can serve as a reminder that you are valued and supported.
